defamed Matthew and his mother Judy Shepard. Outraged at this deceptive and dishonest use of their names to promote an anti-gay website, TBC issued an Alert, immediately followed up by a Call to Action Alert, with contact information for host server with request to contact and complain about this despicable and fraudulent use of Matthew and Judy Shepard's good names. TBC. also responded to letter from the webmaster of anti-gay.com, who proudly claimed to been spamming HRC, the ACLU, GLAAD, Matthew Shepard Foundation, for years and none responded nor were able to stop his deplorable actions. What he hadn't counted on was TBC's members, supporters and friends dedication and efforts in fighting against hatred. Their actions resulted in immediate flooding of host server of matthewshepard.info, with complaints and demands the website be removed from the internet. The host server, did just that, by discontinuing use of the domain and by removing the website from the internet on September 18. TBC wishes to express our sincere thanks and appreciation to those taking a stand against this despicable use of Matthew and Judy Shepard's good names and contributed to the deceptive websites removal. Helms Boy Scouts Amendment Passes House. HRC Executive Director Elizabeth Birch Letter of Thanks for Support and Efforts on Helms and Boxer Amendments. Boy Scout of America Equal Access Act Approved by an unrecorded voice vote, heads to Senate. Read the text of debate, brief debate, just prior to approval. A Letter, signed by 22 organizations opposed to the act, was read into the record during debate. TBC sent out this Action Alert. Helm's portrayed the discriminators as victims of discrimination. Which is a distortion of the facts. What facts show is Scouts were not denied access to any school. He should have said was access may, could, might or maybe be denied. Helms blames victims who the Scouts discriminate against. He berates gay's to gain support for special rights and protected group status for the discriminators.
