Brutal LA Attacks To Be Featured On Crime Show
Sept. 28: The brutal attacks on actor Trev Broudy and three other gay men in West Hollywood
will be profiled on America's Most Wanted.
 
Anti-Gay Violence Mobilizes West Hollywood
Sept 26: After four attacks on gay men that began Labor Day weekend, West Hollywood, police
increased patrols and residents have a new sense of danger in the once placid area.
 
Attacks on Gays Upset Los Angeles Suburb
Sept 25: A heavy worry has settled over the normally carefree streets here after a gay man was
attacked earlier this week by two men swinging a baseball bat and a metal pipe. The police say
they believe the motivation for the beating was homophobia.
 
Gay Actor Out Of Coma
Sept 18: Actor Trev Broudy has regained consciousness, but doctors say it is too early to tell if
he suffered permanent brain damage.  The 33 year old gay performer was beaten by two men
wielding a baseball bat and a metal pipe in West Hollywood on September 1 in what police have
officially labeled a hate crime.
 
Brutal Beating of Gay Actor Is Being Investigated as a Hate Crime
Sept 5: More than a 100 people attended candlelight vigil held on behalf of a 33-year-old man 
who was struck in the head and critically wounded in an attack being investigated as hate crime.
Treve Broudy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where he was listed Thursday morning
in critical condition after undergoing two brain surgeries, said Deputy Donald Mueller. He has
been unconscious since the attack.
 
The Face Of Hate, Police Release Sketch of Sucpect in Brutal Hate Crime
Sept. 6: Police have released a sketch of the man suspected of beating "Fluffer" actor Trev Broudy
with a baseball bat. The suspect is described as an African-American male, standing anywhere from
5 feet 5 inches tall to 6 feet 2 inches tall, in his 20s with a slim to average build, said West Hollywood Detective John Kniest. At the time of the attack, the suspect was wearing a dark baggy T-shirt, baggy
pants and a beanie cap. West Hollywood police are seeking help in locating suspects involved in two

Another Hate Beating Reported
Sept 6: A third man was attacked early Monday morning near the spot where a 33-year-old actor and
a friend were beaten with a baseball bat and a metal pipe, Los Angeles County Sheriff's said Thursday.
"It was the same night. The same street. The same exact MO," said Deputy Donald M. Mueller of the
West Hollywood Sheriff's Station. Both incidents are being investigated as hate crimes, officials said.
