The backroom deal makers are top of Congressmen's list to get details $ 4 Discrimination Deal
Bush was about to make. He may be denying it all, but, the truth is out.
 
Memo Leaked So the Bush Deal On Yesterday, Is Off Today
July 11, 2001: It was reported that Bush made a deal to allow federally funded American Religious
Groups, discriminate against Gays~Lesbians.Spokesperson for Pres. Bush denied Washington
Post report he cut a deal. But, it appeared in every new service. Now public, deny the deal, but, they
did not deny the claims they were still discussing ways groups, i.e.: Salvation Army, can continue to
discriminate, and still receive millions of dollars in federal aid. No deal to discriminate, and the
Salvation Army's request was rejected, to protect their anti-gay hiring policy.

Salvation Army Responds to Protest Allegations
December 16: The Salvation Army Canada responds to boycott of them, because they refuse
to allow gays and lesbians to join, it denounces homosexuality in its publications. In a letter
sent to 365Gay.com, they deny these statements are true.
 
Salvation Army, "Sally Anne" Protest Heads To Canada
December 14: A similar campaign to put notes in Sally Anne kettles denouncing anti-gay policies
in Atlantic Canada, has been started by a Halifax doctor.

Salvation Army "Using Deceptive Ads"
December 10: Recent fundraising letter by the Salvation Army included was a separate card
with the bold headline: "Equality." The letter states in part, "We at The Salvation Army, want
you, our cherished donor, to know that we are all about equality in the work place" Salvation Army's
recent national policy mandate and statements, claims of Workplace Equality are far from the truth.
 
 
Salvation Army Picketed
December 6: The picketers demonstrating outside the Salvation Army in L.A., did so in the name
of equal benefits. And without any ill will, some even hoped donations would still be made to the
Salvation Army, during this holiday season. Even the picketees', had no ill will toward the picketers, 
a few came outside offering donuts to the picketers. Be it as it may, nice is nice. However, equal
opportunity in receiving insurance benefits for all employees isn't just the nice thing to do, it's the
 right thing to do,
 
 
 American Family Association, [AFA] to Buy Back fake 5's with real Fives.
December 2:  The AFA labels GLBT Salvation Army protest against their discriminatory policy
"an untimely campaign of anti-Christian bigotry."  But, their campaign to exchange five dollar bills
for fake ones being put in Salvation Army Kettles by gay activists is dubbed  "Redemption for the
Intolerant." Incidentally, the price of Redemption has a $1,000. limit. Now, keep dropping those fake
five, so, we use up every penny of their buy back campaign.

Kettle Protest Goes National
November 28:  "It's amazing what one PFLAG mom can do." the surprised president PFLAG Genesee
County, Michigan, Mary Scholl recently said. Condemning the charity for its refusal to provide benefits
to the partners of its gay and lesbian staff, Mary started a local campaign for people to drop notices of
protest in the Sally Anne's Red Kettles. This campaign has now become a national campaign, now,
Red Kettles are collecting as many protect notes as greenbacks all across the country.
