Dear Supporters,

We have made a change in our website. We ask you to visit the site to "Make the Pledge." We have been working with a marketing expert who suggested that we add this component to the site.

We need "numbers" for the media, so we have added the "Make the Pledge" icon on the left side of the front page. Please go there and "Make the Pledge". If you have already signed the petition, please "Make the Pledge" anyway and sign up.

The "Make the Pledge" icon replaced the petition. The "Make the Pledge" icon is more effective than the petition because we can gather the names of more supporters much more easily than through the petition that many of you have already signed. We need LARGE numbers to report to the media.

In Closing:

We are in the midst of an editorial writing campaign. If you would like to submit an editorial to your local GLBT friendly papers, please send us an email to request the editorial that we are sending out. You can use the letter we send to you, or you can use it as a model to create your own. We are also releasing information about the Boycott to the AP next week. We have already done numerous interviews across the US. We are also listed on www.advocate.com now. This month we have had over 147,000 hits on the site (as of August 21).
