Forty years after the historic March on Washington in 1963, the son of slain civil rights leader- Martin Luther King, III announces a rally to commemorate King’s Dream and urge Americans to RETURN, REPAIR and RENEW together in the struggle for social justice in America.

Rev. Martin
Luther King Jr. I Have A Dream, Free at last! Free
at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last

The "I Have a Dream" Speech and the entire 1963 March on Washington galvanized America’s sympathy with the civil rights movement.  America could no longer turn a blind eye to the horrors of racism.  The March on Washington was a mighty wave that gave moral strength to the anti-Vietnam movement, the Women’s Right movement and the Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender movement. Today, the 2003 March on Washington is a coalition of more than 100 organizations, which includes HRC.  Everyone is invited to come together for the events below.
