First Gay Pride March
Held in Jerusalem
Despite attempts to
disrupt the first ever gay pride parade held in
Jerusalem,
it went off without
incident. Police estimate 4,000 people
took part in the parade.
They remained on high
alert for possible disruptions by those opposed to the parade.

Marchers Attacked Beat:
July 1: Gay-Rights Supporters gathered to march, bands of
Serbian-national thugs
encircled the marchers and
then savagely attacked them. Beat the gay-rights marchers
with clubs, kicking them and police they tried to stop the
brutal attack. Attempting to prevent,
what is thought the first ever
gay rights march, was what one of the attackers told local B-92
radio, "We are here to pervent immorality in Serbia" and
"Serbia is not a Gay
Country".
With dozens injured and
including six police officers. Police fired shots in air to disperse
the crowd. No deaths reported

4: Baguio City Police decided they
would end Gay Pride Month
in a way
to be remembered. They raided the Coco Banana, a new
Gay Bar in
the city. Police said the raid was in
response to a tip lewd
shows were
being performed. Although they did not
witness the show,
but, still
arrested twenty-three dancers. They were
dancing permitless
