At GLSEN's National Conference: Teaching Respect for All 2003

GLSEN Student Organizing Scholarships
Application Deadline: JUNE 9 - Award letters will be in the mail by June 29.

This year's conference takes place September 19-21 at the Hyatt Regency
Capital Hill in Washington, DC. A lobby day, providing students and others
opportunities to visit with elected officials in congress, will also be held
prior to the national conference on Thursday, September 18, 2003.

Scholarships are ONLY available to students registered in K-12 schools in
Fall 2003.

Priority will be given to those who:
> haven't previously attended GLSEN's national conference,
> are starting or are already involved in student clubs, commonly known as
gay-straight alliances (GSAs) and other student organizing in their K-12
school, and/or
> students who identify as students of color, transgender students, straight
allies or students from the southern or western United States.
