February Review found that four priests had engaged in sexual misconduct with minors  had engaged in sexual misconduct with minors 20~30 years ago, they were dismissed

Two priests who acknowledged sexual misconduct with minors in the past were removed.

Boston

The archdiocese agreed to pay up to $30 million to more than 80 people who accused defrocked priest, John Geoghan, of abuse over three decades. In January 2002 Geoghan was sentenced up to 10 years in prison.

The archdiocese forced 12 preists to resign or retire in February and March after allegations of past abuse.

New York

The archdicese has suspended six priests accused of sexual misconduct with minors. April 2002, Eariler this month the archdiocese gave authorities information on abuse allegation against priests over the past 35 years.

St. Louis

The archdiocese said in March 2002 two priests were removed from duty after allegations of abuse in the 1980's.
