He's Back, "Queer Duck" is Back Out of the Closet.

"Queer Duck", if your asking yourself how do you know if a Duck is Queer and who cares?
Than you are about to find out there are some who do care and know "Queer Duck"  when
they see him. They also are not Ducks, their apart of the loyal followers of this chatty gay
duck. Who was the star of an animated series of that appeared on Ice.box.com. The series
consisted of only had five episodes and is no longer available on Icebox.com. Even though
the animated cartoon series, debuting October 2000, had a short online internet life, it was
said to have had 1 million viewers a day. "Queer Duck" was also named one of the top 100
influential personalities by "Out" magazine.

So, coming in January, to go along with their success of "Queer as Folk", Showtime has
decided to add another Queer series, ordering 15 new episodes to be created and will air
Tuesday evenings following "Queer as Folk". Queer Duck Productions, in association with
Mishmash Media, will be producing the animated cartoon series for Showtime. "Queer Duck"
was the brain child of "The Simpson's" and "The Critic's", Emmy-winner Mike Reiss. Having
been lucky to have seen the "Queer Duck" episodes while online and a loyal fan, I believe, "Showtime could very well have another big Homo Hit on their hands."

With "Queer Duck", who is a nurse, the cast of his fellow openly gay animal friends included,
"Bi Polar Bear", "Openly Gator" and "Oscar Wildcat". Between all these wacky cast of off
the wall gay characters, episodes offered an abundance of humorous double-entendres and
puns. The voice of "Queer Duck" is Jim J. Bullock and singing the theme song and part of the
cast voices is RuPaul.

Showtime also, plans to bring "Queer Duck" back to the net, january 23rd. An interactive web
site will offer "Queer Duck", "Bi Polar Bear", "Openly Gator" and "Oscar Wildcat" biographies, animated postcards, screensavers and merchandise.

It was a great disappointment the "Queer Duck" series was only online for a few short months
before he went back into the gay animal closet. To the millions of online fans, the series and
web site is surely welcome news. I am sure you will enjoy the antic's and gay wit "Queer Duck"
and his gay animal friends will bring to your TV and computer screens. Even those who aren't
fans of animated cartoons are in for a treat. When I first came upon the "Queer Duck" series,
I immediately told all my friends, (Yes both of them LOL.) and never had a site I suggested to
them been such a hit. So, you have to trust me on this one, you have to check it out and I am
sure you will thank me for suggesting you do so. If by chance you don't agree, then just change
the channel, but, doubt this will be the case.
