(September 4, Los Angeles) Anne Heche married Coleman “Coley” Laffoon over the holiday weekend. The actress issued a press release that combined the marriage announcement with details of her upcoming book tour and a plug for tomorrow night's television interview with Barbara Walters.
Heche met Laffoon while she was making a documentary about her then partner Ellen DeGeneres’s tour of America as a stand-up comedienne.
The wedding took place in a 1920s-era Los Angeles villa. 75 friends and relatives attended.
The couple did not set off on a honeymoon. That will have to wait until after Heche completes a ten-city book tour for her autobiography, Call Me Crazy, which comes out later this week.
Tomorrow on the season premier of 20/20 Heche tells Barbara Walters she was insane during her relationship with DeGeneres.
Heche said she had two personalities. Her own and one from another planet who spoke a different language and conversed directly with God.
DeGeneres says, "I thought Anne loved me with all her heart but now I know the truth. Anne never truly loved me I now see I was being used."
